1967

Erling Lunds Maskinfabrik is established by Erling Lund, a company specializing in the production of garden and driveway gates.

1973

The company's name changes to e-l-m Kragelund A/S. Internal production of forklift equipment begins.

1986

e-l-m completes the expansion of 1000 square meters of production facilities in Denmark.

1991

e-l-m enters a partnership with A.T.I.B. in Italy and Loron in the USA.

1993

e-l-m open up new sales offices outside of Denmark

1994

The company introduces the ISO 9001 quality assurance system.

2000

e-l-m signs a contract with one of the world's largest forklift manufacturers, gaining its first OEM customer.

2002

e-l-m initiate a new commercial strategy with extended focus on customized solutions/attachments

2007

e-l-m joins the holding company NAHOB Invest and is sold to two new owners, Niels Anker Hansen and Olav Brøchner.

2008

e-l-m sells its products worldwide, with the majority going to Europe. The export share is 60%.

The company is introducing the ISO 14001 environmental protection system and the ISO 3834 welding protection system.

2010

e-l-m introduces a new logo.

e-l-m joins the holding company Herredsvej Holding ApS, and Olav Brøchner takes over the management of the company (Olav Brøchner is also a co-owner of the company).

2013

e-l-m surpasses 100 qualified employees.

2015

e-l-m initiate a new and modern production site in Slovakia

2017

e-l-m celebrates its 50th anniversary.

2018

Opening of our own factory in Slovakia, with the same certifications as the headquarters in Denmark.

2019

e-l-m finalize the third expansion to the production facility in Slovakia.

2021

In order to increase quality, e-l-m start in-house production of hydraulic cylinders exclusively to be used for e-l-m products. This is part of e-l-m’s insourcing strategy in order to increase quality and meet customers’ demand for short delivery time.

2022

Niels Anker and Olav sell the company to Sdiptech AB.

2023

e-l-m increase it’s focus on designing and manufacturing customized attachments or equipment due to increased demand among its customer base.

Today

e-l-m has more than 207 qualified employees with extensive knowledge. It has its own production facilities in both Denmark and Slovakia. Exports account for approximately 80% of production.

Sdiptech AB acquired 80 percent of the shares in e-l-m Kragelund A/S in June 2022. Sdiptech is a technology group that acquires and develops companies within the infrastructure sector, providing solutions that contribute to more sustainable, efficient, and safe societies.

e-l-m Kragelund A/S is a strong European supplier of material handling equipment and attachments for forklifts. e-l-m A/S develops and sells equipment that contributes to efficient internal transportation and handling solutions.

Since its establishment in 1967, the company has evolved into a market leader in its field of business. Today, we offer a complete range of equipment for forklifts. Our products encompass a wide range, including fork positioners, rotators, sideshifters, push-pull attachments, and telescopic forks.

We are a professional partner and find the right solution in collaboration with our customers. If our standard solution is not optimal, we are happy to design and manufacture the appropriate solution.

We place great emphasis on delivering high-quality equipment and service, which is why we have high standards for our suppliers and employees. e-l-m A/S is currently certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 3834-2.
